Law bid to eject ex-MPA from official residence

By Our Correspondent

Dera Ghazi Khan, May 25: The district administration on Sunday tried to vacate the official residence from the possession of former PML-Q MPA and parliamentary secretary Zeenat Khan but the lady put up resistance.

At the time of filing this report at 11pm, police siege of her house was on.

Sources said on the direction of the district coordination officer, police surrounded the official residence in DDA Colony.

When contacted, Zeenat Khan said the DCO should have served a notice on her instead of sending the police. She termed the police raid a `revengeful act’ of the Khosa-led Punjab government. The district administration claimed that a prior notice for vacation of the residence had already been served on the MPA.
