Two assailants riding a motorcycle attacked him with an automatic weapon. The victim, vice president of the Sindh PML-N suffered multiple bullet wounds and was pronounced dead on arrival at a hospital.

Following the incident on Friday night, the police had approached the deceased’s family for the registration of the FIR but the bereaved stated that they would lodge the report after his funeral.
