BAHAWALPUR, May 24: Several organisations held functions to observe the 42nd death anniversary of Nawab Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi (V) on Saturday. The district administration had declared a local holiday.

The main function was held under the auspices of the Anjuman-i-Dilshauq at Sadiq Dand High School. The speakers demanded that the event should be observed at the national level.
