SHEIKHUPURA, May 22: PML-N president Nawaz Sharif said on Thursday his party had received a copy of the constitutional package prepared by the PPP.

“Right now we are going through its contents. We will support it if it is according to the Charter of Democracy and Bhurban accord,” he told newsmen in Muridke.

He visited the town to offer condolences to former defence production minister Rana Tanvir Hussain whose father Ch Anwar died recently.

Answering a question, he said the PPP would not join hands the PML-Q whom Mr Zardari had already labeled as `Qatil League’.

Nawaz said the PML-N would continue its cooperation with PPP to strengthen democracy.

BAR: Seeking restoration of deposed judges, lawyers on Thursday boycotted court proceedings across Punjab and took out rallies.
