QUETTA, May 21: Three more ministers were inducted into the Balochistan cabinet on Wednesday, increasing its strength to 44 from 41.

Governor Nawab Zulfiqar Ali Magsi administered the oath to the new ministers at a ceremony at the Governor House. Chief Minister Nawab Mohammad Aslam Raisani and some ministers attended the ceremony.

Special Assistant to Chief Minister Dr Ruquiya Saeed Hashmi and Adviser to Chief Minister Rahila Hameed Khan Durrani have been made ministers. MPA Saleem Khoso is the third minister. There were already seven ministers without portfolio and after the expansion the number of such ministers has increased to 10.

Mir Sadiq Umrani, Minister for Communications and Works, said the new ministers belonged to the PML-Q which was responsible for the military operation in Balochistan and the killing of Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti.
