PSB meets tomorrow

LAHORE, May 21: The first Provincial Selection Board (PSB) meeting under the present government is scheduled for May 23 to decide promotions of nearly 300 officials belonging to 15 departments.

The meeting will consider promotions of officials in BS-19 and BS-20 at the C&W’s committee room instead of the chief secretary’s office.

The number of officials whose cases would be considered, and their departments are: S&GAD (50), Home (10), Agriculture (30), Communication and Works (71), Information (9), Irrigation (63), Health (15), Livestock (3), Higher Education (10), Housing (4) and P&D (4). Meanwhile, the provincial government has decided to auction the bulletproof luxury jeep retrieved from the governor’s Principal Secretary Hasan Waseem Afzal.
