MIRPURKHAS, May 21: The Sindh Agriculture Department constituted a Managing Committee for 43rd National Annual Mango and Summer Fruit Festival Mirpurkhas here on Wednesday.

The EDO Agriculture had been appointed as secretary and Mir Maqbool Ali Talpur, Mir Shahdad Talpur, Syed Ali Gohar Shah, Syed Imtiaz Ali Shah, Pir Hassan Ali Shah, Anwar Gondal and EDO Revenue as members of the committee, stated a notification issued by the DCO Mirpurkhas who is also committee’s coordinator.

It further stated that Mir Mehboob Ali Talpur would be Head of the Cultural Committee, Syed Imtiaz Ali Shah Head of Exhibition and Marketing Committee, Mir Shahdad Talpur as Head of Music Programme Committee and Pir Hassan Ali Shah as Chairman Education and Sports Committee.

The district government had constituted previous managing committee, as it was the festival of district government which was funded and organized in collaboration with the Agriculture Department.—Correspondent
