KARACHI, May 19: Three ships carrying containers, palm oil and diesel oil were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Monday.
Meanwhile, three more ships to load/offload containers, cement and chemicals also arrived at the outer anchorage.
Six ships, Sima Paya, Bernice, Sao Paulo, Bunga Melati Satu, Chrisopgi Lady and Kaghan, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, palm oil, diesel oil and iron ore.
A cargo volume of 64,328 tons comprising 62,319 tons of import and 2,009 tons of export tonnage was handled.
Mandy, Sima Pay, Al-Soor-II and Golden Oceania sailed out while Chrisopgi Lady was due to depart.
