AFC Festival Pakistan ‘A’ play two matches on first day


LAHORE, May 17: Pakistan ‘A’ will play two matches on the first day of the AFC U-14 Festival of Football at the Shahid Bahonar Stadium, Tehran, on Sunday.

They will take on Sri Lanka ‘A’ in the morning and face Afghanistan ‘A’ in the evening of the same day.

Meanwhile, Pakistan ‘B’ lock horns with Bhutan ‘B’.

After withdrawal of Bangladesh, the tournament has turned into an eight-team competition.

In all, 36 matches will be played in the five-day festival.

First 24 matches will be of

30-minute duration while the last 12 will be of 60 minutes each.
