KOHAT, May 16: A security official was killed and two others were injured when their vehicle was blown up on Friday night.
According to police, the pick-up of 117 Brigade was destroyed when a bomb planted on the OTS Road was detonated by remote control. The military had launch-ed a major offensive against militants in the tribal area three days ago. Eight militants, including one who reportedly manufactured suicide jackets, were arrested and another militant was killed in the operation.—Correspondent
