SANGHAR: Protest against vigilance teams

By Our Correspondent

SANGHAR, May 15: Students appearing in the intermediate annual examinations being held at the Government High School Pir Sibgatullah Shah at Gunang Bungalow staged a protest on Thursday against the raids by the Mirpurkhas Board team during the examinations.

The candidates blocked Sanghar-Mirpurkhas road and disrupted the traffic.

The BISE teams have been conducting raids to check cheating in the examinations. Seven candidates have been caught red-handed while cheating in the examinations. However, the students claimed that the board teams were disturbing and harassing them unnecessarily.

“We can not concentrate on question papers due to this,” students said. However, the SHO of Jhol police, Mehmood Bhatti, pacified the students and cleared the road to traffic.
