Deportees arrive

Published May 14, 2008

RAWALPINDI, May 13: A group of 38 Pakistanis deported from Turkey arrived at the Islamabad international airport on Tuesday.

Of the 38 deportees who arrived on a PIA flight PK-762, two belonged to Rawalpindi, four to Lahore, two to Faisalabad, four were from Multan and 26 from Gujranwala. The deportees were handed over to the FIA passport cell for further investigation. Once again a rise in the arrival of Pakistani deportees has been noticed, as authorities believe that thousands of Pakistanis are still waiting deportation in the detention camps abroad.— Reporter
