LARKANA, May 12: Civil Judge and Judicial Magistrate-I Qambar Rasool Bux Solangi recovered five people, in a raid at the Nasirabad police station on Monday, kept in illegal detention.

Abdul Razzak Odhano of Nasirabad had submitted an application to the Sessions Judge Qamba-Shahdadkot alleging the SHO Nasirabad police of picking up his cousin, Nasrullah on May 8 and keeping him in illegal detention since then. There was no case or complaint registered at the police station.

The sessions judge directed the civil judge to pay surprise visit of the police station and locate the detainee. The civil judge on raiding the police station found Nasrullah Odhano in lockup, along with four others, Seengar Ali, Musarat, Gulzar and Khameeso. The police failed to produce any document validating their arrest.

The judge released the detainees and asked the police officials concerned to appear in the court with the SHO and produce documents, if any regarding the detention.

TWO RECOVERED: Two brothers were recovered from the clutches of kidnappers near Behram town on Monday. Behram (Qambar) police recovered eight-year old Abid Ali Jakhro and six-year old Sajjad Ali Jakhro in a dramatic move.

Reports said that a train heading towards Larkana from Jacobabad after developing a fault stopped near Behram town. Passengers on noticing a man suspiciously pushing two boys towards the road informed police who arrested the man and took the boys in their custody.
