KARACHI, May 12: Four ships carrying palm oil, coal, chemicals and crude oil were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Monday.

Meanwhile, three more ships with containers, coal and furnace oil also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Seven ships, Bernice, Tiran Island, Raissa Ayu, Nord Voyager, Sinar Agra, Merbabu and Barcelona Bright, were busy in loading and unloading cement, palm oil, coal, chemicals, crude oil and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 46,747 tons comprising 43,845 tons of import and 2,888 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sinar Agra sailed out while Tiran Islan was expected to depart on Monday.
