Dawn misses clean sweep

Published May 12, 2008

KARACHI, May 11: Dawn’s tips proved to be all but one correct in the seven carded for Sunday’s Gymkhana race meeting.

The ‘unsatisfactory running’ of favourite filly Chun Chun Chun in the sixth race deprived the oldest English daily in the country of a clean sweep.

The winning horses also include the day’s best and good double.

Those who returned with flying colours were Hinglachi, Blind Date, Spirit Of Arab, Diamond In Dust, Mixed Blessing and Bharosa.—AZ
