Wasim leads team

LAHORE, May 11: Former Pakistan captain and fast bowling legend Wasim Akram played in an exhibition match in memory of late international umpire Siddique Khan at the Government College University ground on Sunday.

Wasim, leading Wasim Akram XI, took two for 23 as Umar Farooq XI made 151-6.

The target was achieved by Wasim Akram XI in 25 overs for the loss of seven wickets.

Wasim is a former player of the Ludhiana Gymkhana that used to be run by Siddique Khan, who died last year at the age of 61.—Sports Reporter
