EDO issued notice over job interview complaints


DADU, May 7: The regional director of the Sindh Ombudsman’s Dadu office issued notice to the EDO health of Dadu on Wednesday, taking notice of complaints of irregularities in job interviews for lower-grade posts in the health department.

The regional director Saeed Ahmed Mubejo has taken action on the complaints received from affected candidates — Mujeebur Rehman Panhwar, Ghulam Hussain Solangi, Ubedullah Leghari, Arshad Ali Soomro, Rashid Ali Solangi, and Karim Ali Khokhar.

He issued notice to EDO health Dr Rafique Ahmed Kolachi to appear in his office on May 16, along with relevant documents.

The ombudsman has also issued notices to EDO education Shah Mohammad Gadhi and DPO Manzoor Hussain Khatiyan for unauthorised occupation of 17 health facilities by their respective departments in the district.

The officers have been asked to appear in his office on May 16.

LIVESTOCK: Sindh Minister for Livestock Abdul Haq Bhurt has said that his department is introducing new plans to provide facilities to cattle owners in Sindh.

He said under a new project facilities and latest machinery would be provided in villages and towns at new veterinary research centres.

He was speaking at a gathering at Kamori goat farm in taluka Dadu on Wednesday.

The minister said that for the development of Kamori goat farm more funds and facilities will be provided.

The director of animal husbandry department, Mohammad Essa Memon, PPP leaders Dost Ali Jessar, Ghulam Shabbir Abro also spoke on the occasion.

NBP JOBS: Retired employees of the National Bank of Pakistan staged a demonstration outside the press club here on Wednesday. They were demanding jobs for their children in the bank.

They claimed that children of retired employees were getting jobs on quota in other departments but in NBP they were deprived of that facility.

They demanded jobs quota for the children of retired employees in the bank.
