KARACHI, May 7: Four ships carrying containers, tallow and rock phosphate are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where six ships, Cape Negro, Csav Lonqutmay, Creek, Wan Hai-303, APL Dalima to unload and load containers and Fortune Victoria to offload oil were berthed.

Four ships, Mol Affinity, Jitra Bhum, Kota Mesra and Filippa departed on Wednesday, while Sea Bloom, Csav Longuimay, Dion, Cape Negro, Creek, Athanasios Callitsis, Wan Hai-303, Sea Princess and River Pride are due to sail out on Thursday.

The cargo handling activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where a total tonnage of 0.168m tons comprising 50,731 tons of export cargo and 0.117m tons of import tonnage was handled on Wednesday.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Stolt Markland with 1,950 tons of tallow, Conti Harmony and Hanjin Qingdao with containers and Ahmad Junior with rock phosphate.
