KARACHI, May 6: Six ships carrying imported wheat and rapeseed and to load molasses are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where half dozen ships including Mol Affinity, Jitra Bhum, Kota Mesra to unload and load containers, Sea Princess to load cement, Swat to offload crude oil and River Pride to load naphtha were berthed on Tuesday.

Seven vessels including Cap Anne, Sealo-1, Pearl, Bunga Kenari, Chemroad Luna, Lalazar and King Brain departed on Tuesday, while Mol Affinity, Fillipa, Great Summit, Sea Bloom, Cape Negro, Laftha, Athanasios Callitsis, River Pride, Swat and creek are due to sail out on Wednesday.

A total tonnage of 0.132m tons comprising 44,882 tons of export cargo and 87,197 tons of import cargo was handled on Tuesday.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Kang Qiang with 20,938 tons of imported wheat, Darya Raag, with 16,936 tons of rapeseed, Pequod to load 13,000 tons of molasses, APL Jeddah, Rhoneborg and APL Dalian with containers.
