HARIPUR: Girl killed on road

HARIPUR, May 1: A girl was killed when a speeding car ran over her some three kilometres from here on Thursday.

Saddar police and eyewitnesses said that a girl was crossing road near Paki Dohli Sera-e-Saleh when a recklessly driven car hit her injuring her seriously. She was removed to DHQ hospital Haripur from where she was referred to Ayub Teaching Hospital Abbottabad with multiple head injuries.

However, she bled to death on way to Abbottabad, police said. She was identified as Zakia Bibi, 13, of village Sera-e-Saleh.
