NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, April 30: Twenty gastroenteritis patients from different villages, including eight children of a family, were admitted to the Civil Hospital Naushahro Feroze.

Dr Mohammad Ibrahim told reporters that the disease mostly spreads in hot season because of unhygienic conditions and contaminated drinking water. He said some were in critical condition.

Patients have complained of not being supplied with medicines by hospital administration.

NADRA: Regional headquarters Nadra Sukkur has announced a 13-day mobile service in Union Council Kandiaro for preparation of the NICs.

Deputy Manger Mobile Service Nadra Regional Headquarters Sukkur will begin from May 5 to 17.

The Naushahro Feroze Nadra officials told reporters that the Union Council Kandiaro authorities had been intimated accordingly.

Protest: Dozens of people staged a demonstration opposite the press club here on Wednesday to protest against Doulatpur police.

People of Brohi tribe of Hussain Kalhoro village led by Haji Mohammad Brohi complained that a lawyer Mohammad Ramzan Brohi and another man Ghulam Mohammad were killed by accused while on way after attending hearing date in murder case before the Sessions Court Nawabshah about two months back.

They complained that despite demand, Qazi Ahmed police did not provide protection. They said an FIR was lodged at Doulatpur police station but the Investigation Police were not arresting accused.

They demanded of the higher authorities to ensure arrest of the accused.
