KARACHI, April 30: Four ships carrying DAP fertiliser, chemicals and containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where five ships, PAC Antlia, APL Jeddah, Ninth Ocean to unload and load containers, Winco Silvia to unload and load general cargo and C. Duke to offload coal were berthed after the departure of nine.

The departing ships were led by Pertiwi, Annita, Winco Silvia, Mare Threium, Red Sea Spirit, Mol Ability, Cosco Lian Gang, Placid Sea and Seven Sea Aurora, while Transport, PAC Antlia, Lucky Arrow, Bruce Park, APL Jeddah, APL Cairo, Ninth Ocean, C. Duke and Sari are due to sail out on Thursday.

A total tonnage of 88,399 tons comprising 36,267 tons of export cargo and 52,132 tons of import tonnage was handled on Wednesday.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Bengal Orchid with chemicals, Calvin P. Titus, Hanjin Chittagong with containers and Dion with 27,121 tons of DAP fertiliser.

The following vessels are due on Friday: Sinar Agra with chemicals, Lalazar with crude oil, Hyundai Sprinter, Oel Mumbai and Kapitan Byankin with containers and Moodance-2 with coal.
