KARACHI: Shuffle in subordinate judiciary
KARACHI, April 29: The chief justice of the Sindh High Court has ordered transfers and postings of various district and sessions judges, additional district and sessions judges, senior civil judges/ assistant sessions judges and civil judges / judicial magistrates.
The district and sessions judges transferred are: Farooq Ali Channa from Hyderabad to Mirpurkhas vice Ghulam Mustafa A. Memon transferred; Ghulam Mustafa A. Memon from Mirpurkhas to Badin vice Allah Bux Kazi transferred; Allah Bux Kazi from Badin report to the high court; Lal Mohammad Khero from Jamshoro to Hyderabad vice Farooq Ali Channa transferred; Zaheerudin S. Leghari from project director to report to the high court; Syed Saghar Hussain Zaidi, waiting for posting to project director vice Zaheerudin S. Leghari transferred; Saleen Jan Khan waiting for posting to Dadu against a post lying vacant; Manzoor Hussain Subhopoto waiting for posting to Shahdadkot Kamber against a post lying vacant.
The additional district and sessions judges transferred include: Ahmed Saba from Shikarpur to Karachi (West) against a post lying vacant; Mohammad Bux Banghwar from Mirpur Mathelo to Sukkur vice Mehbub Ally Jawahery transferred; Mehbub Ally Jawahery from Sukkur to Moro against a post lying vacant.
The senior civil judges/ assistant sessions judges transferred include: Abdul Rahim Chandio from Thul to Rohri vice Illmudin transferred; Illmudin from Rohri to Mirpur Mathelo -1 against a post lying vacant.
The chief justice has also order posting of Abdul Razzak, additional sessions judge, Karachi East, Court No 6, against a post lying vacant instead of Shikarpur. The CJ has allowed the review application filed by Mashooq Ali Palejo, ex-civil judge and judicial magistrate on Jan 17, 2006, against the penalty of compulsory retirement from service and reinstated him.—PPI
