KARACHI, April 26: A 19-year-old woman, married five months ago, ended her life by hanging herself from the ceiling fan in her house in Madina Colony.
Khokhrapar police said Roohi Bano, wife of Sajid Ali, was found hanging from the fan at around 11am when her husband, an auto-rickshaw driver, returned home.
They said the couple, who were living alone in the rented house (No ME/298), had an estranged relationship with each other since their marriage.
The rickshaw driver told the police he had left his house in the morning as per his routine and found his wife hanging when he returned home with groceries at around 11am.
