Qaim hopeful of success in talks with MQM

LARKANA, April 12: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah said on Saturday that talks with the leadership of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement had resumed after a deadlock and expressed optimism about the outcome of the negotiations.

The chief minister was talking to journalists at the Mohenjodaro airport.

Mr Shah and his cabinet members came here to offer fateha at the graves of Z.A Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto.

He said that the probe into the incident of April 9 in Karachi was in progress.

He added that the first cabinet meeting would be held on Sunday to discuss the law and order situation in Sindh with reference to the incident of April 9.
