KARACHI, Apr 12: Two container ships were accommodated berths QICT during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Saturday.

Meanwhile, four more ships carrying containers and chemicals also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Six ships, Maersk Novazzano, CMA CGM Puget, Ataqa, Steel Might, Theoniki and Sea Lion, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, wheat and furnace oil.

A cargo volume of 103,824 tons comprising 81,088 tons of import and 22,736 tons of export tonnage was handled.

CGM Puget and Sea Lion sailed out while Maersk Novazzano was expected to depart.
