KARACHI, March 31: Four ships carrying raw jute and containers are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where a dozen ships including Grand Sapphire to offload vehicles, Provider to unload imported wheat, Itha Bhum, Abu al-Fadel, Hyum Jin Ks-3 and Bunga Delima, Cosco Karachi Libra to unload and load containers were berthed after the departure of 13.

The departing ships were led by King Brian, Tower Bridge, Stange Attractor-1, Lucky Arrow, Bengal Orchid, Hyundai Sprinter, Bunga Delima, Oel Spirit, Eastern Star, Orien Saori and Moyra.

While Grand Sapphire, Bunga Melati-4, Paula, Hyun Jin Ks-3, Thia Matina, Limari, Lalazar and Abu alFadel are due to sail out on Tuesday.

A total tonnage of 0.280m tons, bulk of liquid one, comprising 0.102m tons of export cargo, including 10,000 tons of cement and 0.178m tons of import cargo was handled during the last two days.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Banglar Mookh with 10,029 tons of raw jute for the local industry, APL Argentina, Oel Trust and Orient Stride with containers.
