HYDERABAD, March 30: In a rejoinder to Sindh Democratic Forum convener Abrar Qazi, who has accused the district government of wasting money on construction of flyovers, the district government spokesman has alleged that Mr Qazi was opposing the flyover project to protect his personal interests.

The spokesman said the SDF convenor had criticised the construction of Guddu flyover because it would adversely affect his petrol pump which had been set up on state land, and his lawn.
