MARDAN, March 29: Doctors at district headquarters hospital here on Sunday announced social boycott of the district nazim.

A meeting of the doctors, held at the office of medical superintendent of the hospital, condemned the behavior of district nazim and decided to boycott him both at official and social level.

Participants of the meeting alleged that during his visit to the hospital some time ago, the nazim misbehaved with doctors in the presence of public and other staff members. The meeting decided to constitute a committee which would monitor the boycott by doctors.

When contacted, the district nazim expressed surprise over the decision of doctors. He said that he tried to conceal the corruption committed by doctors with the help of a government servant.
