NAUSHAHRO FEROZE: Encroachments


NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, March 27: The taluka council of Nausharo Feroze decided on Thursday that union council nazims, member of anti-encroachment committee and notables of the area would go door to door and request people to remove encroachments.

The meeting presided over by Taluka Nazim Munir Ahmed Mubejo and attended by nazim and naib nazims and members of Shopkeepers Association further decided that in case the encroachers did not cooperate with the committee, the encroachments would be removed with the help of police.

The meeting appointed eight inspectors to oversee removal of encroachments.

INJURED: A truck cleaner suffered serious injuries when five highwaymen opened fire on his truck near Kandiaro on the National Highway early on Thursday morning after the driver ignored their signal to stop and tried to speed past them.

ELECTROCUTED: A boy, Shuban Ali Qureshi, 14, was electrocuted in Budho Qureshi village on Thursday when he touched a fan.—Correspondent
