KARACHI, March 27: Three ships carrying containers and to load naphtha are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was on the higher side where seven ships, Jbu Orient to unload coal, Soon Fu, Lucky Man, Danicla and Cape Arago to unload and load containers, Marida Princess and A. Dragon, oil tankers were berthed.

Five ships, APL Sokhna, Soon Fu, Harmony, Ploutos and Alina, sailed out on Thursday, while Cape Arago, Danicla, Pheaton, Gopa and Carribean Carrier are due to depart on Friday.

A total tonnage of 0.105 million tons comprising 58,174 tons of export tonnage including 5,191 tons of rice and 47,027 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Friday: Golden Oceania to load 6,000 tons of naphtha, Hyundai Sprinter, and King Barian with containers.
