Bar elections
LARKANA, March 24: Ahmed Ali Shaikh, an independent candidate, was elected president and Shahid Qureshi of PML-N general secretary in the annual elections of High Court Bar Association, Larkana, here on Monday.
Shaikh defeated Babu Sarfraz Jatoi of the PML-N. Shaikh got 107 votes while Jatoi obtained 62 votes. Mr Qureshi defeated Inayatullah Morio of the PPP with 102 votes against Mr Morio’s 67 votes.—BoC
