By Our Correspondent

GUJRANWALA, March 24: Police could not find a clue to captors of an industrialist who had been kidnapped three days back.

Reports said Zahid Inayat Butt, nephew of Gujranwala chamber’s former president Akhlaq Ahmad Butt, was on his way home in People’s Colony by his car. Near the residence, some armed men allegedly kidnapped him. His family said no one had contacted them for ransom so far.

The family urged the police high-ups to get Zahid Butt recovered at the earliest.

BISE: The Gujranwala Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) on Monday dispatched roll number slips to candidates on their address and the respective educational institutions for annual examination of secondary school 2008 to be commenced from April 8.

Board secretary Chaudhry Muhammad Anwar said roll number slips of those candidates, who forwarded incomplete admission forms, had been withheld. He directed the candidates to get removed objections from their admission forms which were raised by the board office during the scrutiny process.

He asked the candidates to contact the deputy controller examination (matric) if they could not receive slips till April 2.

Anwar said night service had also been started after 8pm on phone (055-3020452).
