QUETTA, March 23: The women wing of Baloch Students Organisation held a demonstration on Sunday in protest against detention of Baloch political activists.

Women activists of the BSO who had held a token hunger strike for three days gathered outside the press club and chanted slogans against the killing of Nawab Akbar Bugti, Nawabzada Balaach Marri and other Balochs during the military operation.

Farida Baloch appealed to international human rights organisations to take notice of what she called excesses of the government against the Baloch people.

She said that hundreds of Baloch detainees had not been produced in any court. She alleged that hundreds of others had been abducted by intelligence agencies in order to force them to give up the struggle for the rights of the Baloch people.
