ICC team concerned over Pindi facilities

By A Sports Reporter

ISLAMABAD, March 22: The three-member ICC International Cricket Council delegation, which visited Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Saturday to inspect arrangements for the Champions Trophy, has expressed concerns over three issues.

The delegates were unhappy with the seating capacity in the press box, entry/exit points of the hospitality box and the small parking area.

Talking to Dawn, an official of PCB said that the inspection team of ICC has shown three concerns which the cricket board will convey to the consultant for rectification by Aug 31.

He said that there were no security concerns shown by the inspecting team. However, another ICC team will also visit Pakistan in June to review the security arrangements.
