LAHORE, March 19: All the six teams from India including Formidable arrived here on Wednesday to take part in the 12th Balijee International Bridge Championship, commencing from Thursday at the Lahore Gymkhana Club.
The Formidable team, comprising Subash Bugta, Sunit Choksi, Dalal Rajesh, Vankat Vaman and Patel Pardeep Kumar, will be defending the title for the fifth consecutive time. The current Pakistan national team Alana, comprising of Alana, Jan-e-Alam Fazli, Rasheed Sattar and Sarfraz Ahmed, has also reached Lahore.
The four-day contest, carrying total cash prizes of Rs600,000, includes pair as well as team competitions.
