KARACHI, March 18: Two ships carrying containers and furnace oil were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, three more ships with tallow, containers and chemicals also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Six ships, Nedlloyd Africa, Leopard-B, Atlantic, Yasa Pembe, Yanaseni and Vema Ocean, were busy in loading/offloading containers, cement, canola seeds, chemicals and furnace oil.

A cargo volume of 83,645 tons comprising 66,693 tons of import and 16,952 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Dart Ford and Yanaseni left the port while Atlantic was due to depart.
