‘Utility Store not selling flour to people’

By Our Correspondent

DADU, March 17: People staged a demonstration outside the Utility Store here on Monday to protest against its officials for not selling wheat flour to common man.

They blocked Kutchery road which led to suspension of vehicular traffic.

They said that on the one hand, flour prices had risen to Rs25 per kilogramme in the open market and, on the other, the officials of Utility stores were not selling flour to common buyers.

They alleged that Utility Store officials were selling flour, ghee and other items to shopkeepers which, they said, was an injustice with poor people.
