NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, March 17: District Nazim Ghulam Rasool Jatoi has said the time of issuing warning to absent teachers is up and now their services will be terminated. He was speaking during a meeting which was attended by officers of Education Department and headmasters from the district here on Monday.

The Nazim announced of upgrading branch schools to main schools as according to him the latter had only one teacher because of which students suffered. He directed preparation of list of schools without buildings. He announced of appointing supervisors at Union Council level for better monitoring and attendance.

The District Nazim said motorcycles will be provided to supervisors and the same will be deprived on poor performance and also posting as supervisor.

He directed setting up complaint cell whose numbers would be published in newspapers for people to inform of absent teachers. The District Nazim directed the DCO Ashfaq Hussain Umrani to pay surprise visits to schools.—Correspondent
