KARACHI, March 15: Seven hundred and ninety nine bachelor, master and doctorate degrees in various disciplines were conferred on students at the 4th convocation of Bahria University on Saturday.

A total of 366 bachelors, 421 master, four MPhil and eight PhD degrees in various disciplines, including BBA (Hons), BSE, BCE, BS Eco, MSc professional psychology, MBA and Executive MBA were awarded to passing out graduates of the years 2006 and 2007. Sixteen gold medals and 11 silver medals were also awarded to students for securing top positions at the convocation.

Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan, who presided over the convocation, said that students should be equipped with sound knowledge in their respective fields of specialisation to succeed in global competitive environment.
