An official announcement issued here said the new system would provide online facilities to its field offices and the employees about online leave requests receiving from field, its approvals in the FBR management and electronic notification on web.

The new system will provide online NOC for trainings/visits abroad, processing and its communication through e-mail; online access to charge assumption and automatic data update in the system; update of employees records and their profiles by field offices including discipline and other issues, online access to employees to register their grievances against the board and all employee-related notifications are placed on FBR website

Speaking on the occasion, FBR Chairman Abdullah Yusuf said the board was a leading public sector organisation, which had again taken the lead in development and implementation of paperless online processing of employees’ applications and other requests.

The FBR was now in a position that it could provide guidance and support to other ministries/divisions to introduce and implement such system for improving their performance and vigilance and also the monitoring functions, he added.
