QUETTA, March 13: A man suspected to be involved in attacks on national installations like railway lines and power pylons in Jaffarabad, has been arrested.

Sohail Sheikh, District Police Officer of Jaffarabad, said at a news conference on Thursday that Dost Muhammad alias Dostain Marri, a member of banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), was involved in various subversive acts and target killings in Marri Farm area of Jaffarabad. He said that police raided a place in the Marri farm on a tip-off and arrested Dost Mohammad.

During initial interrogation, the police officer claimed, the suspect had admitted to his involvement in various subversive acts, including blowing up railway lines and power pylons in several areas.
