KARACHI, March 11: The chairman of the Sindh National Front, Mumtaz Ali Bhutto, on Tuesday said that PPP leader Makhdoom Amin Fahim was a suitable candidate for the post of prime minister.
“He is one of those members of the Pakistan People’s Party who have had sincerely served the party. He also refused Mush-arraf’s offer of premiership in 2002,” he said. Commenting on the reported differences within the PPP, he said that the main reason behind this disagreement was Asif Zardari’s inability to impress the senior party members. He said that Zardari’s decisions had already become unacceptable which spelled the beginning of the end of the PPP.—PPI
