KARACHI, March 11: Three ships carrying containers, general cargo and to load cement are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was fairly active where 11 ships, Noor-i-Madina and Lucky Arrow to load cement, Conti Harmony, Kapitan Byankin, Helenc Rickmers to unload and load containers, Happy Venture, Kosmos to offload DAP fertiliser, Thor Hawk to unload and load general cargo, Johar, Bow Lion and Al-Kortoubi, all tankers, were accommodated.

Sailing was also active as eight ships, Wan Hai-311, Lalazar, Hopi Princess, Jo Birk, Love Song, Thor Hawk, Nordmerkur and Bulk Arrow departed on Tuesday, while Mol Admiration, Kapitan Byankin, Power Ranger, Conti Harmony, Noor-i-Madina, Orbit, Johar, Helene Rickmers, Lucky Arrow and Bow Line are due to sail out on Wednesday.

A total tonnage of 0.119m tons comprising 45,733 tons of export cargo and 72,691 tons of import tonnage was handled on Tuesday.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Jurong Beborzu with containers, Al-Aqeela-2 to load cement and Al-Fullo to offload and load general cargo.
