LAHORE, March 10: Organised by the Dawn Media Group, Fuelling Pakistan 2008 is Pakistan’s Largest International exhibition on “CNG, LPG and Alternative Sources of Energy” and is being held consecutively for the second year.

The Fuelling Pakistan 2008 Exhibition will be held at the Inside Ground of the Fortress Stadium in Lahore from Friday to Sunday (March 14 to 16) from 10 am to 7 pm.

On March 13, a Fuelling Pakistan Conference will also be hosted at the Pearl Continental Hotel, Lahore which is supported and endorsed by Oil and Gas Development Authority and Hydrocarbon Development Institute of Pakistan to discuss various issues pertaining to this industry in Pakistan.

The key features for the success of the exhibition are:

•Pakistan is number one in the world in its consumption of CNG

•Pakistan is a surging economy with the GDP growth rate averaging 7 per cent for the past three years

•Over 40 LPG marketing companies, and around 30 foreign brands of CNG kits are being marketed in Pakistan.

More than 50 exhibitors are participating from countries such as Argentina, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada.
