KARACHI, March 10: Abdul Qadir Memon and Syed Wasim Hashmi have been elected unopposed as president and vice-president, respectively, of the Income Tax Bar Association Karachi (ITBAK) for 2008.

The 51st annual general meeting of ITBAK also elected Muhammad Zubair as general secretary, Muhammad Aleem as joint secretary and Iqbal Ahmed Abadan as librarian.

The managing committee comprises Abdul Aziz Tayabani, Abdul Khaliq Khatri, Adnan Ahmed Mufti, Ali A. Rahim, Mian Saleem Akhter, M Ali R Merchant, Naeem Akhter and Roshan Zameer, says a press release.
