KARACHI, March 10: Five ships carrying DAP fertiliser and containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was on the higher side were seven ships, Power Ranger, Wan Hai-311, Mol Admiration to unload and load containers, Ibn Batouta and Love Song to unload and load general cargo, Lallazar and Nordmerku, oil tankers, were accommodated berths.

Sailing was active as over a dozen vessels including Montana, Y. M. Inauguration, Oel Shreyas, Hansa Liberty, Bunga Kenari, Itha Bhum, Harmony, Orient Stride, and Stolt Heron, Vinashin Metal, Rubia, Bengal Orchid, OBS Swathy and Furtrons were departed during the last two days.

While Thor Hawk, Nordmerkur, Wan Hai-311, Bulk Arrow, Mol Admiration, Ibn Batouta and Power Ranger will sail out on Tuesday.

A total tonnage of 264,000 tons comprising 90,367 tons of export cargo and 174,000 tons of import tonnage was handled during the last two days.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: APL Brisbane, Sooin Fu, Tenth Ocean with containers, Odigitria with 27,500 tons of DAP fertiliser and Thor Admiral with project cargo.
