FAISALABAD, March 9: About eight shops were on fire on Sunday night in Mamonkanjan, some 50 kilometres from here.

Jewellery and electronics shops were also among these shops in Rail Bazaar’s Nasir Market. A short circuit caused the fire when these shops were closed.

However, no injury or casualty was reported though fire fighters were still trying to extinguish the fire at about 11pm.
