FAISALABAD, March 9: Three people, including a woman, were killed in an accident on Sargodha Road here on Sunday.

Reports said that Imran Sajid of Razaabad along with Riffat was going on his motorcycle when another bike driven by Aslam of Rehmatabad hit them. A bus later ran them over when they fell on the road.

Consequently, Sajid died on the spot while Riffat and Aslam expired in hospital. The driver managed to escape from the scene.

Police are going into the matter.

SHOT DEAD:Unidentified assailants gunned down a former police inspector and his driver on Sunday near Chak 163-RB, Chak Jhumra.

Police said that Ashraf Basra along with his driver was on his way when armed men fired at them, killing both of them on the spot. Sources said deceased Ashraf had an enmity.

Police are looking into the matter.
