KHANEWAL, March 8: Two sisters were killed by their brother and uncle early on Saturday morning in the name of honour in 9-A/8-R village of Tulamba Town near Mianchannu.

Ijaz Ahmad suspected his sisters Kausar and Perveen of loose morals. Ahmad and his uncle Muhammad Riaz shoot 27-year-old Kausar and 22-year-old Perveen in their house early on Saturday morning. Kausar was married, while Perveen was single.

“We have registered a case against Ahmad and Riaz under Section 302/34 of the Criminal Procedures Code,” said Tulamba police investigator Ahmad Yar, adding that raids were being conducted for the arrest of the accused.
